Pre-feasibility study for the building of an enviromental tourism structure - Town Council of Sermide |

The study was undertaken for the Town Council of Sermide and was concluded in 2004; its goal was to identify closed and/or open environments where some of the characteristic natural environments of the Po Valley (e.g. source, plain, flood bed, estuary, etc.) could be reproduced.
The preliminary phase of the study examined the elements necessary for a detailed feasibility study to plan the initiative.
The central element was considered in conjunction with a number of other initiatives, in order to complete the project in an organic, consistent way; as an example, that is not exhaustive and by no means binding: a “nature itinerary” inhabited by autochthonous species, river transport, cycle path, etc..
The research took into account different proposals and existing tourist and environmental projects, and also highlighted other aspects such as sustainability, ecological and scientific divulgation, and the enhancement of tourist and environmental aspects. |
