The project aims at offering more job opportunities to women, by enabling them to telework, through the adoption of Internet-based technologies and systems. To this end, the project intends to achieve the following results: 1. to show that teleworking is possible and profitable both for women and for the companies (or bodies) which use this way of employment; 2. to offer women an instrument which enables them to find new job opportunities, by putting them in contact with enterprises requiring specific professional know-how, such as accounting, translations, design, soft-wares and so on; 3. to give an on-line advisory service to those women who wish to telework; 4. to show the feasibility of telework in a public body; 5. to diffuse telework within public administration bodies, by introducing planning and monitoring methods; 6. to build a technological platform, which can easily and inexpensively be customized by public administration and private companies; 7. to organize occasions for promoting the initiatives aimed at diffusing the telework culture in the public administration and in companies.
