The Rosselli Foundation uses different ways to achieve
its scientific goals. Research and analysis are its preferred
instruments. Research, whether basic or applied, theoretic
or empirical, is carried out by teams made up of both
internal and independent researchers.
The Foundation often collaborates with universities
as well as national and international institutes. The
most important topics for government policies are dealt
with through periodic monitoring and are later published
as reports.
The Foundation awards scholarships and visiting fellowships
to encourage research on the issues it considers most
relevant and to contribute to scientific training for
students with special aptitude for research.
Research projects and interesting issues become topics
of discussion during workshops and seminars that are
organised annually by the Foundation. The seminars complement
the Foundation's other activities and are a routine
phase in medium and long term research projects.
The circulation of the results of the research and
of other cultural activities is promoted through regular
reports, newsletters and other forms of publication.
